2025 Best Haunted Attraction in Pennsylvania Contest

-Is there a submission fee?
Yes. There’s a $250 submission fee to win #1 BEST HAUNT IN PENNSYLVANIA & the PRIZE.

 

-When can I submit my video?
Right now until October 5th 11:59PM. Any submissions received October 6th will not count and you will be notified. 

 

-How long of a video should I upload?
Submissions must be at least 2 minutes long and can be longer. However, you can only upload ONE VIDEO showcasing your haunted attraction. Can be recorded on iPhone / Android, or any camera you have access to.

 

-Who judges the videos? 
 Dave Prokopec & Salvatore Rubino are the hosts and judges for the competition. However, the winner is determined by most views.

 

-Who are Dave Prokopec & Salvatore Rubino?
Two local filmmakers in Pennsylvania with extensive industry experience and a passion for growing our client's business.

Official Rules

1. Eligibility

​

The contest is open to owners and operators of haunted attractions physically located in the state of Pennsylvania. Entrants must be at least 18 years old at the time of entry. The physical location of the haunted attraction must be within Pennsylvania state boundaries, regardless of where the entrant resides.

Employees, contractors, family members, or affiliates of the contest organizers (Salvatore Rubino and Dave Prokopec) are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period

* Entry Submission Period: September 23rd - October 13th 11:59PM 2025
* Judging Period: October 14th.
* Winner Announcement: October 15th.
Entries received after the submission deadline will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

1. Entrants must submit a contest application via the official contest website: https://www.topseasontravelattractions.com/.
2. A non-refundable entry fee of $250 must be paid through the website at the time of submission.
    * The entry fee covers administrative, promotion, production, marketing, and post-production editing costs.
3. Entrants must provide a video submission of their haunted attraction that complies with the format, length, and technical specifications listed on the contest website.
4. By submitting, entrants confirm they have read, understood, and agreed to these Official Rules.

5. Judging Criteria

All eligible submissions will be evaluated by two judges: Salvatore Rubino and Dave Prokopec. Each haunted attraction video will be judged based on the following categories:

* Makeup: 1–10 points per judge
* Set Design: 1–10 points per judge
* Wardrobe: 1–10 points per judge
Each judge may award up to 30 points total per entry. With two judges, the maximum combined score is 60 points.
Bonus Point
The video submission with the highest number of YouTube views by the end of the judging period will be awarded 1 bonus point, which will be added to the judges’ total score.
The contestant with the highest overall score (out of a possible 61 points) will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, the judges will confer and select the winner based on overall creativity and presentation.

6. Prize

The winner will receive:
* A free video promotion shoot created by Top Season Travel Attractions & RCMGFILMS (Salvatore Rubino and Dave Prokopec).
No cash or cash-equivalent prize is offered. The prize has no retail or resale value and is not transferable.

7. General Conditions

* By entering, contestants grant Top Season Travel Attractions & RCMGFILMS the right to use submitted videos and related materials for promotional purposes, including posting on YouTube and other media platforms.
* Contestants agree that the decision of the judges is final and binding.
* Contestants agree that YouTube is not affiliated with, endorsing, or responsible for this contest.
* Contestants agree to release and hold harmless Top Season Travel Attractions, RCMGFILMS, and its affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising out of participation in the contest.

8. Disclaimers

* This contest is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by YouTube.
* Contestants understand that YouTube’s terms of service and community guidelines apply.
* Any violation of YouTube’s rules (including artificial inflation of views) may result in disqualification.

9. Governing Law

This contest is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. All disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.

10. Agreement to Rules

By submitting an entry and paying the entry fee, contestants fully and unconditionally agree to these Official Rules and accept the decisions of the judges as final.
